I've been procrastinating this entry for some time now because I have SOOO much to write about!! but I finally found some time in between work so let's do it! ( I think i'm gonna separate it into two different entries because it's a lot... )
IBERANIME 2025 HAPPENED!! YAYY!! this marks my 11th year in a row going to this event, I know it's not exactly how it used to be before since anime became way more mainstream in Portugal since the early 2010s, but it's such a big part of my life and who I am as a person that I couldn't have possibly missed it, even if I don't recognize most of the things they're selling anymore HAHA
This year it was really far away from where I live, like what....a 1h30 drive? it's a huge change and it was a little nervewrecking...anyways, I started doing my makeup at around 5 AM and we left at around 7 AM!
We got there like an hour early and stayed in line for almost 2 hours, here's some pics I took on the line, before it all went downhill:
By the time we got there I was already a mess LOL I really don't think anyone had any idea of how hot it would be, I felt so bad for the cosplayers that had huge dresses and props!!! My bangs kept getting super greasy and I think that's part of the reason why I didn't feel like taking many pics.....but still I have these and I will treasure them forever because a memory is a memory and I know I'll appreciate it even more in some years!
I don't have much to say about the first day because it was so hot we couldn't enjoy ourselves very well, there were so many people and it was so confusing since it was a new place....I learned today that they didn't even had the ventilation on for the whole day!!!! I think the best part of the day were the people that recognized me as gal and asked to take picures with me, so so sweet! ♥♥ Everyone was so nice and kind to me and it made me very happy! it happened at least 10 times and I was super surprised because I wasn't even cosplaying LOL some people even recognized me as my artist name and that was SHOCKING haha, I'm a little bit embarrassed that so many people saw me looking all sweaty and busted but I think we were all stuck in the same hell so it's okay!!!

my main goal for Iber was to find dramatical murder stuff since it's my favorite thing ever......I really really REALLY regret not getting Koujaku!
We left at around 2PM because there were just so many things going wrong we couldn't take it anymore LOL but it's okay because i've always preferred the second event day anyways, since there's way less people and you can see the stuff way better! almost 100% of the pictures I took were from the second day and I can't wait to write about it, I'll link it here once I'm done!
I had a lot of fun nonetheless, I loved meeting so many kind people and taking pictures with them, it was awesome! I also had an amazing time with my boyfriend and my mom and I will probably remember the first day for that mostly! ^_^
