【♥D.I.Y♥】La Pafait inspired hime bow ♪

Hallooo everyone!

Iberanime is almosstt here and we're just now getting everything settled, my mom and I are already done with the dress we were working on and everything's going as planned (⁠*⁠´⁠ω⁠｀⁠*⁠)♥ Now I think I'm just missing a really big bow to fit the really big hair I have in mind, so I thought: why not make one while I still can?

I really wanted something inspired by La Pafait, I just adore the '' too-muchness'' all of their accessories have and my dress is really lacey! I actually DO own a La Pafait headpiece already but it's a big rose arrangement barrette and I think a BOW would look cuter with it!

aaand now the process! ( P.S it was done by me and my boyfriend together! ^_^ )

First, we made a simple HUGE bow with pink satin fabric, we usually use those satin rolls but since I really wanted this one to be ginormous we used actual fabric ( it's way bigger than it looks like )

This is the prototype part, since I struggle with visualizing stuff I like to place it all upfirst before glueing anything, that's how it looks like! I was trying to pick which lace to use and where

After glueing all the lace, we decided to make ANOTHER ribbon but this time smaller, I think it really changed everything! we glued it to the center and then tried o figure out the placement of the roses....I thought it would look cuter if the colors were coordinated diagonally!

ANNNNDDD....

TA~DAA! here it is, in all it's BIG glory!

We added lace to the little ribbon and fluffed up the roses to make them look fuller! IT'S SOOO CUTE, when we were done my boyfriend told me it was by far the cutest thing I've ever made and I agree, IT'S ADORABLE!!!!! I'm super super happy with it ♥

Oh, and here's the dress! isn't it so adorable? My mom made pretty much everything, she's beyond talented and she did it so quick too!! I'm so lucky!! It's very similar to a MA*RS dress I own, but it's way more lacy and puffy and also has a more...uhm...spacious boob space LOL! I'm so excited to wear it this weekend! ^_^
